50 Days, 50 Songs to the "Gordon Lightfoot: 50 Years on the Carefree Highway" Concert.

Day 12

This was Gordon Lightfoot’s first gold single. It spent the summer of 1974 on the Pop Chart and went to number one. It’s probably one of his best known songs.

I can see her lyin’ back in her satin dress

In a room where you do what you don’t confess

Sundown you better take care

If I find you bin creepin’ round my backstairs

Sundown you better take care

If I find you bin creepin’ round my backstairs

Sundown, Gordon Lightfoot
